OPEN CALLS TO ARTISTS
"The Dark Side of Art" explores how artists use macabre, gothic, and unsettling themes to confront human fears, psychological pain, and societal taboos. It bridges the gap between inner chaos and visual expression, revealing uncomfortable truths about human nature. Imagery in your artwork can include the macabre and gothic, subconscious and trauma, the devil and evil, or a personal emotional struggle. All interpretations of the theme are welcome.
This juried exhibition will run October 8 - November 7. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 10th, with a Halloween theme, and a “Day of the Dead” celebration with a costume contest will be held on Sunday, November 1st.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: SEPT. 13
